01Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the MeetingViz service available at www.meetingviz.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.
If you are using MeetingViz on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. References to "you" include both you personally and any organisation on whose behalf you act.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
02The Service
MeetingViz is a web application that uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) to transform long-form text you provide into structured HTML visualizations. You can save generated visualizations to a personal library, share them via unique links, and manage your account from a single dashboard.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
03Accounts
Registration
To use the Service you must create an account by authenticating via Google OAuth or a magic-link email. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
Account security
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Keep your authentication credentials confidential
- Not share your account with any third party
- Notify us immediately at support@meetingviz.com if you suspect unauthorised access
MeetingViz is not liable for loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.
One account per person
You may create one personal account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent credit limits, subscription restrictions, or any other Service restriction is prohibited and may result in all associated accounts being suspended.
04Credits & payments
How credits work
Each visualization generation consumes 1 credit. New accounts receive 5 free starter credits at signup, no card required. Additional credits are available through monthly subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Power) billed via Stripe, or as one-time credit pack purchases for subscribers — Free-tier accounts cannot purchase credits directly. Credits accumulate — unused credits roll over from one billing period to the next. Credits expire 30 days after account deletion.
Subscription tiers
MeetingViz offers monthly subscription tiers (Starter, Pro, Power) that include a set number of credits per billing period. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. New subscription credits are added to your balance at the start of each billing period and unused credits roll over.
Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. You authorise MeetingViz to instruct Stripe to charge your payment method for the amounts you select.
Subscription cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to subscription features and your remaining credits until the period ends. Credits accumulated before cancellation remain in your account and can be used until your account is deleted.
05Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Submit content that you do not have the legal right to process or share
- Submit content that constitutes, facilitates, or promotes illegal activity
- Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or violates anyone's privacy or publicity rights
- Submit personal data of third parties without their consent where doing so violates applicable privacy law
- Attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with the Service's security measures, authentication systems, or access controls
- Use the Service to scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data beyond normal personal use
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other non-human means to interact with the Service except through our official API (where one is made available)
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our prior written consent
- Attempt to disrupt, degrade, or overload the Service or its underlying infrastructure
- Use the Service to generate content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the violation.
06Your content
Ownership
You own the content you submit and the visualizations generated from it. MeetingViz claims no ownership over your input text or any AI-generated output produced from it.
Licence to MeetingViz
By submitting content to the Service, you grant MeetingViz a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, copy, process, transmit, and display your content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service to you. This licence expires when you delete the content or close your account, subject to the retention period described in our Privacy Policy.
Your responsibility for content
You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content you submit:
- Does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
- Complies with all applicable laws, including data protection laws where the content contains personal data about other individuals
- Does not violate any confidentiality obligations you owe to your employer, clients, or any other party
MeetingViz does not review content before processing it and is not responsible for content that users submit.
08AI-generated output
Visualizations generated by MeetingViz are produced by a large language model (Anthropic Claude) guided by templates and styles you select. You acknowledge that:
- Output may contain inaccuracies. AI-generated content can misrepresent, omit, or distort information from your input. Always review generated visualizations before sharing them, particularly for use in professional, legal, medical, or financial contexts.
- MeetingViz does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any generated output.
- You are responsible for the content of visualizations you share. Sharing AI-generated output with third parties is your decision and your responsibility.
- Output does not constitute professional advice. Nothing generated by MeetingViz should be treated as legal, financial, medical, or any other form of regulated professional advice.
09Intellectual property
MeetingViz IP
The MeetingViz name, logo, the visual design of the Service, all underlying software, templates, visual styles, and any original MeetingViz content are the intellectual property of MeetingViz and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any MeetingViz-owned material without our prior written consent.
Feedback
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant MeetingViz an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you.
10Disclaimers
MeetingViz does not warrant that:
- The Service will be available at all times or free from errors or interruptions
- Generated visualizations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- Any defects will be corrected
Your use of the Service and any reliance on generated output is entirely at your own risk.
11Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MeetingViz and its directors, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if MeetingViz has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall MeetingViz's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to MeetingViz in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In those jurisdictions, MeetingViz's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12Termination
By you
You may close your account at any time from the Account page. Closure is subject to the data retention terms described in our Privacy Policy.
By MeetingViz
We may suspend or terminate your account, without refund of unused credits, if you:
- Materially breach these Terms
- Use the Service in a way that poses a legal, security, or reputational risk to MeetingViz or other users
- Fail to pay amounts owed for credit purchases or subscriptions after a reasonable cure period
For serious violations (such as illegal content or active attacks on our infrastructure), suspension or termination may be immediate without prior notice. For other violations we will endeavour to give you notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach before taking action.
Effect of termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5 (Acceptable Use obligations), 6 (Your Content — responsibility), 8 (AI disclaimers), 9 (IP), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), and 13 (Governing Law) survive termination.
13Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where local mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and by displaying a notice in the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.
